Assult On Aesthetics

An Image Showing Heaps Of Dirt In Agra City

Agra, Dec 6 (IANS) Hundreds of school children cycled through streets of this Taj city Sunday morning to spread environmental consciousness and demand drastic reduction in carbon emission to make the city clean.
‘The city of three world heritage monuments can not be allowed to remain dirty, choked and traffic jammed perpetually,’ Shishir Bhagat, programme convener of Wake Up Agra, told IANS.

Medical activist and gynaecologist Shivani Chaturvedi said: ‘Children must learn to reduce and recycle waste. Parents should promote cycling habit among children.’
The young cyclists took a round of the city’s life line M.G. Road before they were addressed by Father John Farreira, an educationist and yoga promoter.
Farreira said the city’s profile must change. ‘Everywhere you see heaps of dirt and garbage. The poor level of cleanliness is not only a health hazard but also an assault on aesthetics. People should wake up and clean up the city and make roads safe for cycling,’ Farreira said.

Taj Mahal

One Of The Four Mainars (Pillars) Of The Taj Mahal In Agra, India

One Of The Four Minar's Of the Taj Mahal
Reminds Me Of the Song Wish You Were Here By Pink Floyd,
Sharing The Lyrics:

o, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

Unknown Unthought

Unknown Unthought By Perl Jam Is My New Fav Songs These Days.
Sharing The Lyrics With You All.

All the thoughts,... You never see,... You’re always thinking,...
Brain is wired,... Brain is deep,... Oh are you sinking?,...

Feel the path of every day,... Which road you taking?,...
Breathing hard,... & Making hay,... Yeh this is living,...

Look for love & evidence,... That you’re worth keeping,...
Swallowed whole in negatives,... It's so sad & sickening,...

Feel the air up above,... A pool of blue sky,...
Fill the air up with love,... Black w/starlight,...

Feel the sky blanket you,... w/gems & rhinestones,...
See the path cut by the moon,... For you to walk on,...
For you to walk on,...

Nothing left,... Nothing left,...
Nothing there,... Nothing left,...

See the path cut by the moon,... For you to walk on,...
See the waves on distant shores,... Awaiting your arrival,...

Dream the dreams of other men,... You’ll be no ones rival,...
Dream the dreams of others then,... You will be no ones rival,...
You will be no ones rival,...

A distant time,... A distant space,... That’s where we’re living ..
A distant time,... A distant place,... So what you giving?,...
What you giving?

Mystical Elephant

Took This Photo Today Outside My Office. This Elephant Has 2 Om Symbols On Each Of His Ears an the Symbol Of Trishul On Its Trunk.

Om or Aum is of paramount importance in Hinduism. This symbol (as seen in the image on the right) is a sacred syllable representing Brahman, the impersonal Absolute of Hinduism — omnipotent, omnipresent, and the source of all manifest existence. Brahman, in itself, is incomprehensible; so a symbol becomes mandatory to help us realize the Unknowable. Om, therefore, represents both the unmanifest (nirguna) and manifest (saguna) aspects of God. That is why it is called pranava, to mean that it pervades life and runs through our prana or breath. Read On

The trihsula (also spelled trishul or trisula, Sanskrit for "three spear") is a tridentspear that is the emblem of the god Shiva. The weapon symbolizes empire and the irresistible force of transcendental reality.

The three prongs of the trishula represent Shiva's three aspects of:
  • Creator,
  • Preserver
  • Destroyer

as well as the three shaktis (powers):
  • Will
  • Action
  • Wisdom
The fearsome goddess Durga also brandishes a trishula in one of her seven hands.

Under The Bridge

This railway bridge stands tall before the train station called "Yamuna" which is also the name of this river. It doubles up as a foot over bridge as well. The view of the Taj mahal is amazing from the center of this bridge.

99999

(click on the image to enlarge)
99999 aims at uniting the people of the
world to think and act as one. Imagine if everybody in the world could
just turn off the power for everything – from light bulbs to computers
– for 9 minutes, just 9 minutes, all at the same time. If all the
people of the world joined their hands to turn off “the switch” at 9
p.m. on the 9th day of the 9th month in this year, 2009, it would not
only be an awesome way to save an incredible amount of power but also
an ode to the environment.
In case you miss out on this.....u can simply download the above image and set it as your wallpaper....this will also save a lotta electricity
